At Maggie's, we're of the firm belief that good health starts with good nutrition, and a proper, species appropriate diet should be the foundation for good health and longevity. 

However, there are most certainly instances in which our pet's can benefit from a concentrated nutritional boost. For various reasons not limited to breeding and genetics, malnutrition or lack of proper nutrition, size, age, and activity levels, supplements can have a positive impact on your pets vitality, and can provide complementary management of certain diseases and illnesses. 

Before we get into the range, it's important to be aware that not all supplements are created equal. Much like what we find in the human supplement market, manufacturers who care more about their bottom line than product quality will provide you with a product that promises the benefits of a more expensive version, yet provide the supplement in a synthetic alternative to the real thing, or combined with cheaper ingredients to make your product less effective. 

We thoroughly research our products, their origin, manufacturing standards and efficacy before we decide to include them within our range. For the most part, we source from small, privately-owned companies where we can speak directly to the owner about their formulation, and they show care and concern for the efficacy of their product.
